Cabinet Secretary Defense and Acting Cabinet Secretary Devolution, Eugene Wamalwa, delivers keynote address on May 9, 2022 at the Panafric Hotel in Nairobi, during a breakfast meeting to brief Africa Diplomatic Corps, on the forthcoming 9th Africities Summit in Kisumu City, from 17th to 21st May, 2022.
The main theme of the summit is: “The Role of Intermediary Cities of Africa in the implementation of Agenda 2030 of the United Nations and the Africa Union Agenda 2063’. It is the first time the Summit is being held in an intermediary City, and the historic choice of Kisumu, sets the stage to discuss future challenges of urbanization in Africa and the World.
