An elderly man from Baringo Central sub-county has been rearrested and charged after he failed to honour an out of court settlement he had entered with his accuser.
Isaac Kibowen Chebore’s case of falsely obtaining money from John Kiprop in the pretext that he would sell a parcel of land to him has been restarted after Mr. Kiprop went back to court to report that he had not honoured the agreement they made.
He is charged that on diverse dates between January 2017 and January 2018 at Kabarnet township in Baringo central sub county, he obtained Sh. 205 000 from John Kiprop falsely pretending that he was in a position to sell a piece of land.
Resident magistrate Vienna Amboko adjourned the case to May 23, 2019 where the accused person’s witness will testify before the court.
