A sixth year Bachelor of Medicine student at Moi University was murdered in cold blood on Tuesday morning by his boyfriend.
The assailant inflicted deep cuts on his lover’s head with an axe in broad daylight and unsuccessfully attempted to flee.
He was apprehended by bodaboda operators outside Moi Teaching and Referal Hospital (MTRH) who together with other members of the public stoned him before he was rescued by security guards manning the hospital.
