Embu County secretary lands PS job

Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, Embu County’s Secretary and Head of Public Service has been nominated as PS in the Ministry of Education State Department for TVET.

The nomination of Dr. Muoria comes barely 12 hours after she was sworn in as the Embu County Secretary and Head of Public Service.

Dr. Muoria who served as registrar at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a dedicated civil servant had promised to bring a turnaround the Embu County government.

Speaking after being sworn in as the County Secretary and Head of Public Service in Embu, Dr. Muoria had vowed to fight the corruption that had taken root in the County Government of Embu left by the previous regime.

“I will strive to fight the corruption that has been eating away the county and ensure that the lost glory of Embu County is restored,” she said.

Dr. Muoria had also promised to ensure that Governor Cecily Mbarire delivers on her health agenda by ensuring that she advises the governor accordingly.

“Matters of health are at the core of my heart and I would love to see that residents of Embu County enjoy the best health. I will strive to ensure that Embu becomes the benchmark on matters of health by ensuring that I advise governor Mbarire accordingly,” she noted.

Coming from an education background, having served at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Dr. Muoria will be joining the Ministry of Education, State Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) with a wealth of knowledge.

Confirming her nomination on phone, Dr. Muoria promised to put her best foot forward in serving the country and ensure that TVET institutions are fully funded by the Government.
