Smooth Tallying of Votes in Kiminini

All the 954 ballot boxes have been returned back to Kiminini Constituency tallying station at St. Peters Cleveland Church.

Speaking to KNA, Peters Cleveland Church tallying center Residing officer (RO) Mr. Peter Resa confirmed that a sample of 35 polling stations have submitted their results.

Resa noted that the constituencies voting turnout was relatively low with 58.5% as per closing time of 5pm yesterday

He said that delays in the tallying center has been attributed due to high number of 80 Member of county assembly candidates

“Personally, I had projected that the tallying exercise ends by 10 am this morning, the worst scenario in Kiminini Constituency is the number of MCA candidates, so processing of results take time,” said Resa.
