A total of 15 Laikipia County assembly wards has transmitted a total of 559 out of 569 forms 34As.
According to the latest Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, (IEBC), updates on the transmission of 34As that are used for presidential results, shows the transmitted forms represent 98.94 percent.
Laikipia East Constituency which has four county assembly wards has seen 189 forms submitted against 192 polling stations in the area.
Laikipia North with four assembly wards has transmitted 121 out of 131 polling stations and Laikipia West with six assembly wards has sent to IEBC 242 forms 34As, a representation of 100 percent.
After the returning officers announce results at the constituency level, they will physically deliver to the National tallying centre forms 34As and 34Bs after declaring results for both Member of National and County Assemblies.
IEBC has said the transmission of forms 34As is at 97.4 percent representing 45,048 out of 46,229 polling stations countrywide.
Meanwhile, votes tallying is ongoing at Thingithu secondary tallying centre in Laikipia East, while the county tallying centre is at Nanyuki High School.
