An Albanian national has been arraigned before a Narok Court charged with assaulting a Narok businessman.
Amarildo Korti, 28, appeared before Narok Senior Principal Tito Gesora charged with the assaulting and seriously injuring businessman Munir Harun at his petrol station in Narok town on February 15.
The accused who was represented by Lawyer Martin Kilele did not however plead to the charges after his lawyer objected to this saying his client had not recorded a statement with the police and that his client also had a complaint to lodge to the police.
Mr. Gesora granted his prayer saying the rights of all individuals needed to be preserved and ordered that the tourist be presented at the County Criminal Investigations Office to record a statement and lodge his complaint.
He also ordered that the suspect deposit his passport in court before being released on a bond of Sh50, 000 cash bail. He is to be brought to court on Wednesday to take a plea to the charges.
Korti was alleged to have differed with the businessman when he went to fuel his car whereupon he set upon the complainant and assaulted him seriously injuring him.
