Two killed in  Homa bay accident

Two people riding in a motorcycle perished Thursday in an accident involving a tractor along the Homa bay – Ndhiwa road.

 

The accident occurred near Magina-Pala junction when the motorcycle collided with a tractor belonging to Sony Sugar Company.

 

Sources from the police revealed that Kennedy Abuor, 30, and his pillion passenger identified as Nicholas Odhiambo were killed on the spot when they collided with the tractor which was abruptly driven into the highway.

 

Their bodies were taken to Homa Bay Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary for a postmortem while the tractor was towed to Nhiwa Police station for inspection and further investigations.

 

The driver of the tractor disappeared immediately after the accident and police have launched a manhunt to arrest him.
