A 33-year-old man was found dead inside his saloon car at a filling station in Otonglo, Kisumu County.
It was not established what could have caused the man’s sudden death even as the watchman at the petrol station saw him park his car at the spot but never stepped out before the lifeless body was discovered.
Kisumu County Police Commandant, Samuel Anampiu, said it forced the law enforcement officers to confirm whether the man was dead or asleep.
Investigations have now been launched after the man was confirmed dead with a bottle resembling container of a poisonous drug found next to him, raising fears he might have committed suicide.
Police have launched investigations. The body was taken to the Kisumu County Hospital Mortuary.
