NCPB launches customer relationship management system

The National and Cereals Produce Board (NCPB) has  launched a Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS) to improve service delivery and enhance customer experience.

The CRMS will help NCPB build a relationship with its customers and create loyalty and customer retention.

The board has also launched a new packaging material for its Nafaka Foods Rice products.

According to NCPB expanding the market share for its products and service, required a robust and easy to use system that would enable it learn about its customers and their behaviours so as to anticipate their needs and ultimately fulfil them .

“The CRMS will enable the board to be more efficient  in customer service by streamlining , organizing and automating sales and marketing activities while providing analytics as well as customer data”, NCPB  Managing Director  Joseph Kimote said  today today.

The data, he added will let the board make informed decisions that will increase customer satisfaction and also its efficiency and profitability.

CRMS will also be integrated with other platforms like the boards facebook, twitter , the website and will also utilize  the boards email, telephone and ICT system to streamline and increase interactions with customers.

NCPB customers are normally diverse depending on the goods and services they get.Its NAFAKA  food products vary from rice, beans , green grams, fertilizers and other farm inputs.

They also deal with leasing of their facilities and offer post-harvest services.
