The family of Richard Juma Odundo, a resident of Kowuor Mita, A Village in Ndhiwa Sub County is anguished after their son Isaka Otieno Juma went missing on March 1, this year.
It was reported that the class six boy went missing, while on his way to school and has never been seen to date.
“The boy left home for school but he never returned home,” Odundo said.
He said the family has searched for the boy everywhere, but they have not heard of his whereabouts.
“We thought the boy had gone to visit our relatives, but none of them has seen him,” Odundo said.
He said they have used vernacular radio stations to announce the disappearance but the efforts had proven futile.
“We have made several announcements on diverse radio stations but we have not gotten any feedback,” Odundo added.
He said he had recorded a statement at Magina Police Post and Ndhiwa Police Station where he was issued with an Occurrence Book (OB) number 16/17/04/21.
The anguished father on Tuesday called on security officials and well-wishers to help him trace his son.
“I appeal to anybody who meets the boy to inform me or report to the nearest
Police station,” Juma said.
