Former Busia Sub Branch Secretary Hillary Musundi clinched the chairman’s post after beating former Busia Sub branch chairman William Musumba 5 against 4.
Musumba’s running mate Michael Ikolak takes over as vice chair.
Former AFC Leopards Team Manager Bernard Onyango was elected treasurer after beating FKF Teso Sub Branch chairman Moses Imai 5 against 4 votes.
Women representative seat was captured by Josephine Oduori after beating her opponent Anne Otiti with 7 votes against 2 with Martin Buluma being elected unopposed as the youth representative.
The elections were conducted peacefully with the losers conceding defeat in the spirit of sportsmanship.
Musundi pledged to embark on revamping football in the County by organizing competitions from grassroots level.
He urged the County leadership to support footballers adding that lack of sponsorship had lowered the standards of the game in the area.
