Kenyans have been called upon to stand with the less fortunate members of the society by sharing with them the little they have during this Easter season.
The Anglican Church of Kenya Holy Trinity Majaoni Parish, Rev. John Karisa Ngamba said the only way Kenyans could show love to one another during this Easter season is through caring for the destitutes, especially during these hard times of the economy.
In his Easter message on Sunday, Rev. Ngamba said so many Kenyans were undergoing hardship situations since the outbreak of the Coronavirus and it would be prudent if we shared with them.
“The only way we can show love to the destitutes is by reaching them with what we have especially during this Easter season,” he said.
Addressing the media, the cleric also appealed to Kenyans to adhere to the government directives aimed at combating the deadly global virus.
“Though the current economic times are difficult, I am sure if we adhere to the laid down directives by the government, we shall soon overcome the challenges,” Rev. Gamba added.
He further said that the Coronavirus should not divide Kenyans, but instead present a chance for us to come together and help one another as we fight the vice.
