As panic grips the whole world due to Coronavirus, Kenyans have been challenged to embark on fervent prayers in order for God to heal the country.
Bishop Jane Wairimu Nderitu of Siloam Outreach Ministries, said God has promised to deliver Kenya from the virus soon and requested Christians to put their trust in Him as they continue praying.
Speaking to KNA on phone Thursday, the woman of cloth said, “God has promised me that in less than three weeks, there shall be encouraging news as far as COVID-19 is concerned.”
“I saw in a vision a hand of God upon our nation Kenya, covering all borders,” she said, insisting that God has promised to glorify Himself in Kenya through the deadly virus. “The fact that the first coronavirus case has fully recovered is just a pointer that God is ridding our land from the virus,” she added.
The Bishop said COVID-19 had been prophesied in her Nyeri based church whereby during a Kesha (night vigil) to usher in New Year 2020, she saw in a vision darkness covering the whole world and revealed the same to congregants.
“Earlier in 2018, God revealed to me that another disease more fatal than Cancer was beckoning and we embarked on prayers,” she said, alleging God had also forewarned about locusts during the same Kesha.
She thanked the government for the measures it had taken to control the virus, including closing the places of worship and urged Christians to comply.
“These are temporary measures meant for our own good, lets comply as we wait for the situation to normalize,” she urged.
