Turkana leaders have condemned the killing of two police reservists and an attack on two others in Kapedo on Sunday morning.
Turkana East Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali Lokiru said it was shameful that the attack came barely a week after a similar one that claimed three lives in the village.
“We demand an end to these killings,” he said.
Two police reservists were gunned down and two others sustained injuries in two separate attacks by bandits suspected to be from a neighbouring community.
A local administrator also confirmed that two guns were stolen during the incident.
County residents also took to social media to condemn the incident.
“Allow us to mourn in peace,” said one Daniel Esimit, in reference to last week attack.
Last week, area leaders also called for an immediate end to the killings.
