Residents of Uyawi beach in Bondo sub-county woke up to a shocking incident on Monday morning when a body of a 23 year old fisherman was found hanging inside his rental house.
Duncan Abuka Odoyo is suspected to have committed suicide under unclear circumstances according to Uyawi Beach Management Unit (BMU) Chairman, Caleb Ngesa Manuko.
Manuko told KNA that their preliminary findings indicated that Abuka, a father of one, had a minor quarrel with his wife only for his body to be found dangling from the roof of their house hours later.
Manuko however, said the deceased did not leave behind a suicide note.
The BMU chairman who confirmed the incident, stated police were called to the scene and moved the body to Bondo sub-county hospital mortuary for postmortem as investigations began.
