Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia has said that Mukurweini NG-CGF has partnered with the KCB Foundation to sponsor youth empowerment programmes in the constituency.
Speaking in Mukurwe-ini when he attended a meeting with KCB Foundation in his office to discuss execution and implementation of the youth empowerment programme, Kaguchia said Mukurwe-ini National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) has partnered with KCB Foundation to sponsor youths joining our local polytechnics and colleges to study short technical courses.
The legislator said through the programme, over 1000 students joining Mukurwe-ini Technical Training Institute, Gathungururu, Kaheti, Thangathi, and Giathugu Polytechnics will be fully sponsored for tuition and exam fees.
Kaguchia noted that Youth represent the most vital and energetic element of our population, and by upskilling them, they will contribute to nation-building.
“We not only safeguard their future but also enable them to effectively participate in economic and social activities that contribute to nation-building,” said Kaguchia.
He confirmed that the first cohort will be joining the institutions during the September intake. Communication on applications and enrollment will be made soon.
He encouraged youth to continue registering at the training institute, saying that the government is ready to help all the youth in the county.
