County Government of Narok has hit a milestone with the completion of 20 transformative projects in Maji Moto Narosura Ward, Narok south Sub County marking a new era of growth and opportunity for the local communities.
Speaking at the inauguration of new Early Childhood Development (ECD) classrooms at Maji Moto Primary School, Governor Patrick Ntutu celebrated this achievement, emphasizing the county’s commitment to delivering impactful development projects.
“These 20 projects signify our dedication to uplifting our communities from education to healthcare and infrastructure, thus reshaping our county,” said Ntutu.
The key completed projects include ECD classrooms in Lengina, Letukunyi, Iltalala, Ekiu, Loisukut, Kinunga, and Enkare Nairowua.
It also includes specialized facilities like the Ewaso Nyiro Girls’ Laboratory and staff quarters at Narosura and Olekuluo.
At the same time, Ntuka Health Center, Ilandoru Dispensary, and Elangata Enterit staff houses have been completed and are ready for commissioning.
Ntutu added that infrastructure improvements have also taken center stage with the construction of the 25KM Esupetai-Loongila link road, a footbridge that connects Olekuluo village and Ngeem village, and the operational Enkutoto borehole, which has significantly improved water access.
The area MCA Daniel Kilereai lauded these accomplishments, terming the Ntutu a trail blazer.
“The scale of these projects proves that the Sh100 million allocation per ward is transforming lives. Funds are being put to good use,” added Kilerai
He said MajiMoto Narosura Ward stands as a testament to what focused leadership and strategic planning can achieve.
